Do You Want This Man to Hold the No. 2 Spot at the US Federal Reserve?

Stanley Fischer, a dual-Israeli citizen who has been proposed for the number two slot at the US Federal Reserve, shows off his Israeli i.d. card.

With the Jewish Janet Yellen now confirmed as the next Fed chairperson, the man now under consideration for the number two slot is not only Jewish, but also a dual Israeli citizen. In the article below, Grant Smith discusses Stanley Fischer’s ties to the Jewish state, going all the way back to the 1970s, as well as his appointment to head the Israeli central bank in 2004, revealing some pretty compelling reasons why Americans need to speak out—now—to stop this nomination from going any further.

Dual-citizen nominee’s lifetime benefit to Israel comes at a heavy cost to America

The rushed campaign to insert Stanley Fischer straight from his position leading Israel’s central bank into the number two spot at the Federal Reserve has allowed little time for research into the appointee’s career or for informed public debate about his record.  Like the failed recent Obama administration-Israel lobby pincer move to ram approval for U.S. military strikes on Syria through Congress, avoiding such due diligence through velocity may actually be the only means for successful Senate confirmation.

Some of Fischer’s accomplishments—from co-authoring a seminal textbook on macroeconomics to handling economic crisis at the IMF have—not surprisingly—been recalled by his many supporters.  Other doings that shed light on Fischer’s controversial attributes—such as overhauling how U.S. aid and trade packages are delivered to Israel—have been mostly ignored.  Appointing an openly dual Israeli-American citizen into the most important central bank in the world could be a watershed moment.  While the doors of federal government have long swung open for Israel-lobby appointees focusing most—if not all—their energies on advancing the interests of a foreign state, any who were actually Israeli dual citizens have traditionally kept that a closely-guarded secret. Fischer’s long-term boosters, including the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), likely want to accustom Americans to openly dual citizens circulating between top roles in the U.S. and Israeli governments.  A closer examination of Fischer reveals that average Americans have good reason to oppose his appointment, because his lifelong achievements for Israel have imposed high costs and few benefits to the United States while making peace more difficult to achieve.

  1. Yes, I do, Richard. If it were up to me I’d give him the #1 spot. I actually salute this appointment with sincerity and hope. Here’s why:
I continue to be baffled and outraged by how many Americans are still in the dark about the Federal Reserve Bank — three lies in a three-word name.
The appointment of an Israeli bankster (fake ‘dual” citizen–no duality to his allegiance), along with recent “coming out” developments like Netanyahu’s brazen directives to the Jewish-controled US Congress to bend US policy to his demands, represent hope for me that what used to be hidden will now finally smack Americans on the head and make them snap out of their confused slumber.
The only thing that would please me more would be someone like Joe Lieberman running for President with Rahm Emanuel as his running mate.

    • I don’t know, Ariadna. The question is when do we hit bottom? And whether or not there’s always going to be room to fall further?

  2. no, the question is… will americans even notice? doubtful. mainstream news won’t give it much coverage. the fact of the matter is, the economy has never particularly been bad, despite all the continuous talk of recessions. people are used to seeing in the news that the economy is bad, but it isn’t. those are just abstract numbers that mean nothing to anyone. the average american’s weight hasn’t gone down. he hasn’t been missing many meals. the economy is fine. all the talk about it being bad is an excuse to enrich the rich and keep the masses’ selfishness distracted and confused.

so…. this israeli…. he can’t hurt the economy much… whats going to force the news to talk about him? he’s not black, so his citizenship probably won’t be much of an issue. he looks white. there won’t be any questions about HIS birth certificate. and most american christians really feel very uncomfortable talking about israel or jews for fear of appearing antisemitic and/or due to the inherent jew-envy that many christians have theologically..

    i don’t see this being a headline anywhere….

    • “the economy is fine…”

Tell that to people who are living in their cars or sleeping on the sidewalk. You’re certainly right about one thing, though. The fact that he’s an Israeli won’t get any media attention.

  3. I believe the existence of the Fed is unconstitutional. It is incapable of accomplishing its stated objective. Is a cartel operating against public interest. Is a supreme instrument of usury . Encourages War. Destabilizes the economy, Is an instrument of totalitarianism. Therefor anyone recommended for this post, by what used to be our government is a danger signal that action toward a New World Order and a collapse of the dollar is proceeding. This is not due to strife or incompetence but collusion by a single party posing as two parties

  4. Voting for unconstitutional laws is treason. The existence of the Fed after 95% inflation since its passage into law during a Christmas recess of Congress with hundreds absent ,justifies the assumption that is really doesn’t matter who runs the Fed since the people no longer have control of the government that was once theirs The people have surrendered. It looks like government by the people, of the people and for the people might pass from this earth
