One year ago UNICEF–the United Nations International Children’s Fund–released a pretty damning report on the treatment of Palestinian children while in Israeli military detention. The report found that, among other things, homes were typically raided in the middle of the night, that children were tied up or shackled and blindfolded, physically abused, insulted, and forced to sign statements in Hebrew, a language which, in many cases, they did not understand.

US Could Free Convicted Spy Pollard in Deal with Israel: Reports
A number of media outlets today, including mainstream media in the US, are reporting on the possibility of a deal under which convicted spy Jonathan Pollard would be released in an effort to revive stalled peace talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians.

Protecting Israel from the Threat of Gaza Fishermen

Then a couple of more years went by and came the news of the so-called “red lines document,” in which it was revealed that Israelis had established a “minimum caloric intake” necessary for Palestinian survival.
Chris Christie Apologizes to Adelson for ‘Occupied Territories’ Remark
Apparently New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has blown his chance at having casino billionaire Sheldon Adelson fund his 2016 run for the White House.
Not only does Christie have trouble keeping his bridge lanes open, but it seems he forgot that the Occupied Territories aren’t really occupied, they’re only “disputed.” And of course every dimwitted, hack politician in America knows the proper name is “Judea and Samaria,” but I guess Christie forgot that part too.
