A school-boy looks on as his teacher is searched outside the Ziad Jaber school in the West Bank city of Al-Khalil, or Hebron.

Israel seems to be continuing its attack on education in the West Bank city of Al-Khalil, or Hebron. A few days ago I posted an article containing a photo of Israeli soldiers surrounding the Cordoba school in the neighborhood of Tel Rumeida with barbed wire. Today the ISM has posted a series of 12 photos, no less, documenting harassment at a checkpoint set up right outside another school, the Ziad Jaber school. The above image is one of them. On Thursday, 17th December 2015, Israeli forces yet again body-searched every male adult – and also youth – passing Ziad Jaber school in occupied al-Khalil (Hebron). Most female adults were also searched by male soldiers, a clear violation of their privacy. Various female students were also searched or had their bag searched.
