Hillary Clinton: The Pro-War Candidate

 photo hclinton_zpsjngmoxdt.jpg

[Ed. note – Hillary Clinton seems to be largely off her rocker. That’s just my own personal impression of her. But below are two good articles on why Americans should try to avoid a Clinton presidency like the plague if at all possible. One of the articles deals with the role she played in the destruction of Libya, the other with the support she is now picking up from neocons like Robert Kagan and Max Boot.  In addition, Clinton has also compared Russian President Putin to Hitler, and as Paul Craig Roberts  commented, “I don’t’ think there is any candidate that we can end up with as president that would be more likely to go to war with Russia than Hillary.”

One other thing I’ll mention–yesterday a group of more than 90 people describing themselves as “GOP national security leaders,” released an open letter stating their opposition to a Trump presidency and vowing that they will work to defeat the candidate. Among the signatories are Michael Chertoff, who was assistant attorney general at the time of 9/11 and who reportedly ordered the release from custody of the five dancing Israelis; Philip Zelikow, who led the 9/11 Commission and personally authored the commission’s report, described here as a  “best-selling work of fiction”; and Dov S. Zakheim, who was Pentagon comptroller when trillions of dollars were reported missing on September 10, 2001. The full text of the letter, as well as the entire list of signatories, can be found at the War on the Rocks website. It’s probably a safe bet that should Trump win the Republican nomination, a good portion of these people will endorse the Democratic nominee, which at this point seems likely to be Clinton.]

Hillary Clinton Praised by Neocons

By Brandon Turbeville

Proving that there is no discernible difference between Republican and Democratic administrations (as if the Bush-Obama years were not proof enough), Hillary Clinton’s dramatically pro-war, Zionist, and police state policies are earning her the support (or at least the lack of public opposition) from noted Neo-Con figures who typically play the role of the right-wing Republican side of the dialectic.

Consider Jacob Heilbrunn’s article in the New York Times entitled “The Next Act of the Neocons,” where he argued that many hawkish Neo-Cons are considering the possibility of crossing over from the GOP to the Hillary Clinton camp. While the ideology of the Neo-Cons is scarcely discernible from other factions in the US ruling class, there are minor differences in terms of the presentation of that ideology. This presentation has been carefully crafted by the ruling class for years for the purposes of dividing and ruling the American people. The fact that a seemingly “conservative” movement would thus be so open about supporting a seemingly “liberal” candidate is extremely telling.

New Report Shows Hillary Clinton Drove US into Libya Disaster

By Dan Wright

A new in-depth report from The New York Times paints a damning portrait of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the US government’s involvement in the war in Libya. While there had been previous reports citing Clinton as leading the charge for the US to enter the war and overthrow former Libyan Leader Omar Gaddafi, the Times published a play-by-play story with on-the-record comments numerous current and former Obama Administration officials.

The most prominent of those on-the-record comments came from former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, who claimed that the decision to go to war in Libya was heavily influence by Clinton. In fact, Gates says she made the difference in a “51-49” decision that ultimately destroyed the country of Libya and allowed ISIS to grab new territory in the Middle East.

  1. I just can’t stand this woman, with her spin writers, her insulting comments to the Russian head of state, to anybody with a little knowledge, should know, that president Putin lost many relatives to the Nazis empire, so comparing prez Putin to Hitler is wrong wrong and wrong. Hilary Clinton’s potential rival for the White House ,Donald Trump,is often maligned as a racist and xenophobe but Hilary Clinton gets into office, god help the near east and Africa ,because if you think prez Obama drone war is bad now, just think what this ardent war hawk will do if she attains office,Hilary Clinton=more dead black and brown people, more wedding parties blown to pieces, also her potential flirtation with Armageddon, with her belligerent attitude to Russia and maybe China.. Trump wants to work with Russia and perhaps draw a line on imperial expansion and also rethink America’s aalignment with frenemies, I.E Saudi Arabia,Turkey, or at least Erdogan, Arab gulf states in general, I’m not sure on his views on Israel, that snake will have to be handled with extreme care and skill, but dealing with the for mentioned would be start, because the connected issue of the arming of terrorist proxies in Syria,is a definite issue, especially when these same proxies ,are alleged to of sold US journalist ,James Foley to ISIS,and a another bone of contention, is that America is now seemingly allied to al qeada in Syria.yes ,Trump’s question, as to what the hell is going on ,is a question that needs answering.

  2. Comparing Putin to Hitler is not the mark of a well-seasoned politician, it is the mark of a power hungry psychopath willing to risk WW3 in order to advance her own career.
