The Beeman of Gaza

You’ve heard of the Birdman of Alcatraz. Here we have the Beeman of Gaza. Twenty-five-year-old Kanaa’n Abu Rook, who lives in Khan Yunis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, obviously has a unique talent for beekeeping. It has been a long time since I’ve seen this many honeybees in one place. Apparently the bees don’t consider him a terrorist.

  1. Wish he’d send them on “missions” to some of the squattlements…. Just a bite per settler in a sensitive place would demonstrate that the bees are worldwise…

  2. The Israelis will probably end up accusing him of that. And when you think about it, it wouldn’t be any wilder than some of the stories they’ve made up about tunnels, human shields, and the like. With the Israeli public so far gone off the deep end, every time they see a bee buzzing they’ll probably begin imagining it’s a deliberate attack. Come to think of it, it might make for a good satire.
