Rep. Tulsi Gabbard has done what Obama and John Kerry failed to do: She went to Syria to personally meet President Assad. She just came back with a message which seems to challenge the very foundation of the New World Order ideology in the region.
If the West wants peace in Syria, says Gabbard, then politicians need to include Assad in the political equation.
Gabbard has more damning things to say. The U.S., she argued, has “waged wars of regime change” in places like Iraq, Libya, and Syria, and nothing good has come out of those essentially diabolical moves.
In fact, perpetual wars have resulted “in unimaginable suffering, devastating loss of life, and the strengthening of groups like al-Qaeda” and other terrorist cells in those places. Gabbard has recently said:
“My visit to Syria has made it abundantly clear. Our counterproductive regime change war does not serve America’s interest, and it certainly isn’t in the interest of the Syrian people.”
We should all agree with Gabbard, and right here she has literally deconstructed the New World Order ideology in the region. It certainly takes courage to make those assertions and to even go to a war-torn country and talk to a so-called dictator.
In that sense, Gabbard, an Iraq war veteran, represents the vast majority of Americans and the vast majority of Syrians who have resented supporting terrorist cells such as the Syrian rebels. Moreover, Gabbard has indirectly attacked terrorist apologists such as the Neoconservatives and political whores like John McCain and Lindsey Graham.
Gabbard has specifically said that the Neocons have been beating the war drum since the beginning of the Syrian war. There is more: Gabbard “urged Trump to ignore the neocons,” which is another way of saying that the Trump administration needs to render them obsolete. Last month, Gabbard delivered a speech that put New World Order agents in a really hot seat. She said:
“Under U.S. law, it is illegal for you or me, or any American, to provide any type of assistance to al-Qaida, ISIS or other terrorist groups. If we broke this law we’d be thrown in jail.
“Yet the U.S. government has been breaking this law for years, directly and indirectly supporting allies and partners of groups like al-Qaida and ISIS with money, weapons, intelligence, and other support in their fight to overthrow the Syrian government.”
Obviously this doesn’t line up with what the Neocons and their marionettes have been telling us for years. And this is one reason why the New York Times and the Washington Post were quite upset with Gabbard. They think that she has betrayed them.
The Trump administration should give Gabbard full support here. Trump has publicly humiliated Bill Kristol last year, and he should move on to put his words into action by putting the Neocons on a diet in Syria.
