US Test Fires Second ICBM in 7 Days

After hypocritically lambasting North Korea for test firing missiles, the US has conducted its second test of an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile in seven days. The latest ICBM test launch, of a Minuteman III missile, took off from Vandenberg Air Force Base at two minutes past midnight local time on Wednesday, May 3. This follows by seven days the last test, which took place on April 26.

ICBMS are capable of traveling thousands of miles and delivering a nuclear payload.

What is the world to make of the fact that the US not only is conducting such a tests but also makes a practice of uploading videos of them to YouTube? The US military has made an effort to portray these as routine missile tests, but does anyone believe that? Someone in Washington seems to be trying hard to send a message–but to whom?

Should we assume these tests are intended solely to scare the leader of North Korea? Or were they intended to intimidate Russia and China as well? You can go here to view a similar video of a Minuteman III test which took place on October 21, 2015–just three weeks after Russia sent troops into Syria. Is Russia supposed to assume, as it watches all these tests, that the US isn’t preparing for World War III? Is it supposed to take it on faith that the lunatics running the US government have no intention of launching a preemptive nuclear strike upon Russia?

A news report on the latest test, posted today at RT, mentions a “simulated” test firing said to have preceded the two most recent tests and that occurred on April 11. The report includes a quote from a US military official, one Lt. Col. Deane Konowicz, who commented at the time:

“The Simulated Electronic Launch of a Minuteman III ICBM is a signal to the American people, our allies, and our adversaries that our ICBM capability is safe, secure, lethal and ready,” he said.

The world has much to fear right now, but it isn’t from North Korea or Iran. Neither country’s leaders are insane. The same, however, cannot be said of the mentally diseased Zionists who have gained control of the US government and who now have their hands on America’s nuclear arsenal.

  1. North Korea is painted as a nation run by a oddball crazy man with a oppressive way of life,_too a point the latter maybe true, but unlike the empire it does Not seek expansionists goals, and back to first point, a regime that has lasted for soo long must have shrewed minds behind it,plus they have eyes and have seen what happens to countries Not under dominion of the US empire that seek a different development are soon destroyed either by direct force or Trojan horses disguised as NGO s’ or pro democracy movements that are usually some malevolent scheme of regime change,i.e,Brazil,Venezuela and Argentina, but then we get to overt force, countries such as Iraq, Libya and Syria..The rule of thumb is if you want peace prepare for war,arm your nation to the teeth if you don’t want to suffer a fate like Saddam or Gaddafi ,Prez Assad is learning the hard way…

  2. P.S.,The empire is slowly learning about the limits of its power,if Korea is ever attacked there would be significant blood loss on all sides,Korea would not have hit the US directly but target the thousands of US service men and women stationed in Japan and Korea, also if their are any crazy ideas of a sneek attack on China, well Chine bristles with nukes and cruise missiles, the empire should just call it a day,_even the Roman empire drew a line around the empire, and said Expansion No More!!

    • Whatever criticisms one may have of North Korea, their recent statement about Israel being a “disturber of peace in the Middle East, occupier of the Arab territories and culprit of crimes against humanity,” is a remarkable bit of truth-telling. The same statement also refers to Israel as the “only illegal possessor of nukes in the Middle East, under the patronage of the U.S.” It is symptomatic of the time we live in that those who speak the truth are labeled as “mad men.”
